Wednesday, August 1st

3:55am: An officer checked on a Business Alarm Activation at 21 Mycal Drive. All was fine and the alarm was reset.

9:27am: Kristina Greene advised of a Missing Juvenile from 708 West Harrison Street. Officers located the juvenile a sort time later and returned him home.

2:12pm: An officer assisted a motorist with mechanical problems near Wilson Ave. and Lincoln Way Street.

5:58pm: A caller advised of a possible fight occurring between kids in Washington Park. The officer made contact with the juveniles, who advised they were play fighting.

6:44pm: Skylar Johnson advised of kids throwing things at cars as they pass them in the 100 Block of North Cedar Street. The officer made contact with a parent and 4 children at 104 North Cedar Street. The children were throwing “Whipper Snappers” near the curb, but not into the roadway.

9:58pm: An officer located an Open Door at 1016 East Lincoln Way Street.

Thursday, August 2nd

2:42am: An officer responded to the Landus Beef Feed Center for a fire alarm.

3:15am: An officer assisted Greene County EMS with a medical call in the 300 block of South Walnut Street.

4:44am: An officer assisted Greene County EMS with a medical call in the 600 block of South Chestnut Street.

8:30am: Cassie Baugh reported a Burglary to her vehicle in the 700 block of West Adams Street. An officer is investigating.

10:02am: As a result of a traffic stop in the 600 block of South Elm Street, Allison Tucker of West Des Moines was issued a citation for Failure to Have Valid Driver’s License.

3:05pm: As a result of a traffic stop in the 800 block of East Lincoln Way, Charles Bierman of Breda was issued a citation for Excessive Speed and Operating a Non Registered Vehicle.

4:29pm: An officer responded to S. Elm Street and 250 th Street for a driving complaint.

6:05pm: Maurice Wistenberg spoke with an office about a Harassment issue.

9:05pm: Jill Mills spoke with an officer about suspicious activity in the 500 block of West State Street.

9:35pm: An officer responded to 401 West South Street to remove a bat from the residence.

11:59pm: An officer responded to 600 block of West Lincoln Way for a report of a Domestic Assault. The victim reported that Dale Ganoe, had struck her with closed fists from behind during an argument, causing injuries to her back. As a result of the investigation an Arrest Warrant has been requested for Dale Ganoe (40) of Jefferson for Domestic Abuse Assault – 2nd Offense – Aggravated Misdemeanor.
