An annual tradition will feature its first full set of musicians tonight at the 10th River Ruckus in Guthrie Center. The festival kicked off Thursday evening with Cody Hicks and Beau Braswell as opening acts. Tonight the lineup includes Collin Raye, Sammy Kershaw, Joe Diffie and headliner 38 Special.
Amidst all the fun, Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright encourages those in attendance to enjoy responsibly. “Hopefully we don’t have any problems this weekend and we don’t have to bring anyone in here (the jail). That’s what we always hope for. We want everyone to have a good time, but be safe and be careful about what you do and if you’re drinking alcohol, please do not drive. That’s what we ask the public to be aware of.”
Tomorrow night’s list includes Walker McGuire, LANCO, Chris Janson, and headliner Jake Owen. Past artists at the festival include Toby Keith, Joe Nichols, and Hank Williams Jr. The majority of the festival components are the same. However, the new addition this year is the Watering Hole, an area featuring a bar, food vendors, and games.
Tickets are still available for both tonight and tomorrow night.
