As we begin to close the book on July, that means the fall season is coming upon us and the start of some fall sports seasons.

Jefferson Parks and Recreation will be hosting registrations for its U8 through U15 soccer programs Monday, July 30th through Wednesday, August 1st from 6 to 8pm at the Greene County Community Center. Parents must bring their child’s birth certificate to register them. JPRD Director Vicky Lautner says if your child played in their soccer program last year, then they have your child’s birth certificate on file.

Practices will be determined by the volunteer coaches of each team. Games for the U8 league will be played in Ogden, while all other leagues’ games will be played in Fort Dodge.

All individuals must be registered by August 8th to be on a team. Call the community center at 386-3412 for more information.
