The ACGC baseball team will welcome Glidden-Ralston to Guthrie Center tonight.
The Chargers last played on Saturday when they swept the Woodward Academy Knights in a West Central Activities Conference doubleheader, their first back-to-back victories in program history. Tonight is also senior night for the gold and black. Four of the top five hitters on the team are in the outgoing senior class. Caden Wardyn leads the team with 22 and Quenton Spack is second with 18. Both Owen Hansen and Garrett Walhovd also have eleven each for ACGC, fourth and fifth most respectively.
The Chargers will take on a Glidden-Ralston team that is heading in the opposite direction. The Wildcats have dropped their last four games, and have scored just seven runs in those contests. Senior Matthew Slechta and sophomore Grant Borkowski lead the team in hits with eleven each. The Wildcats are last in the Rolling Valley Conference in batting average, hitting at a 179. They are also averaging just over four runs per game.
You can hear the ACGC and Glidden Ralston game live tonight on KKRF2. Pre-game coverage is set for 6:55pm, with first pitch at 7 from Guthrie Center.
