The ACGC softball team will try to stop two active streaks in their doubleheader tonight against the Des Moines Christian Lions in Urbandale.

The Charger girls come into the West Central Activities Conference matchups on a three-game losing streak. After a hard-fought extra innings loss to the Grandview Christian Thunder on Monday, the Chargers dropped a pair against the Ogden Bulldogs Tuesday evening.

The 18-5 Lions are coming in on an eight-game winning streak, including a crucial conference victory over Van Meter, 9-8. The Lions lead the conference in home runs with 20 and have recorded the fewest hits allowed per game, averaging just over five per contest. On the defensive side, the Lions have the best fielding percentage in the conference at 96%.
