Recently, both Guthrie and Adair County achieved the necessary benchmarks to obtain Home Base Iowa status. They will be honored with a recognition ceremony on Friday, July 6th. Both will be on their respective Courthouse grounds, with Adair’s from 9:30-10am and Guthrie’s from 11-11:30am.

Governor Kim Reynolds, Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg, and Iowa Workforce Development Director Beth Townsend will be in attendance. Each ceremony will also have addresses from local veterans. Sergeant First Class (SFC) Lucas Queck of Greenfield will speak for Adair and Command Sergeant Major Curtis McLellan will speak for Guthrie.
