The Jefferson City Council will meet today.

The Council will consider for approval a new member to the volunteer fire department, applying for a grant for the animal facility project and a fireworks permit application. The Council will also hear a presentation on the Jefferson Library Needs Assessment report.

The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
