Mother nature affected another West Central Activites Conference softball game for the Panorama Panthers this week. Heavy rains Monday evening flooded many fields in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area, including at Earlham Community Schools where the Panthers were to play two games versus the Cardinals. Panorama had Monday’s WCAC contest versus Des Moines Christian stopped with two outs in the third inning due to inclement weather and never resumed. Panorama will continue their game with the Lions Friday evening while the Panthers will have to wait until next week to make up their doubleheader versus Earlham. Weather permitting, the Panthers hope to get their West Central Activities Conference competition week started tonight in Ogden. Varsity first pitch is set for 7:30 p.m.
