Tuesday, June 18th

12:03am: During a Traffic Stop in the 600 Block of East Hwy. 30, an officer arrested Mitchell Kenneth Venteicher, 33 of Jefferson, on numerous outstanding Greene County Arrest Warrants.

3:10am: An officer checked on an Audible Alarm sounding at 307 South Wilson Ave. A key holder was contacted. A false smoke alarm was tripped at the church, but no fire was present.

10:00am: An officer spoke to a vehicle owner in the 200 Block of East Madison Street about a Parking Complaint. The 48 Hour Parking Ordinance was explained to the subject and the vehicle was moved.

11:21am: Matt Saddoris advised of an Abandoned Bicycle at 800 West State Street. The officer placed the bike in Impound.

12:47pm: Casey’s advised of a vehicle parked at 508 North Elm Street that had broken down the day prior. The owner had not removed the vehicle yet. The officer spoke to the owner, who advised it would be removed before 1900 hours.

1:31pm: William Davis requested an officer at 102 South Pinet Street for an issue with his adult son. The officer advised Davis to evict his son through an attorney.

1:51pm: An officer checked on an Audible Alarm at 307 South Wilson Ave. The alarm was malfunctioning and all was well at the church.

2:17pm: Officers assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 500 Block of East Park Street.

4:20pm: An officer assisted a Probation Officer with a Home Visit at 205 North Locust Street.

6:35pm: Janice McCauley reported an unknown male subject on her property at 507 West Monroe Street. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Adam Michael Winger, 37 of Jefferson for, “Trespassing – Simple.”

9:31pm: An office assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 600 Block of South Wilson Ave.

10:57pm: An officer located an Open Door in the 500 Block of Greenewood Road.
