Weather permitting, the No. 4 Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers softball team (23-4 overall) has another busy competition week ahead of them. The Tigers have five games in a row this week, including four games in Adel and three against Raccoon River Conference opponents. ADM starts the week at home tonight hosting the Carroll Tigers in a Raccoon River Conference contest. The Tigers host league opponents Bondurant-Farrar on Tuesday and Boone Wednesday before traveling to Norwalk Thursday for a nonconference game versus the Warriors. ADM finishes the week with a nonconference home game versus the Knoxville Panthers. The ADM Tigers softball team brings a record of 23-4 into the week, and head softball coach Rick Dillinger continues to be pleased what he’s seen from his group. “We’re excited about what we’ve begun,” Dillinger said, ” We are still in the process of getting better but I love the kids effort, I love their attitude, team chemistry, and their want to improve. I’m looking to continue those things and continue the process of getting better and improving skills.”

ADM tallied three wins this past weekend at the Roland Story Softball tournament, defeating BCLUW (10-2), Ames (8-1), and South Hamilton (6-3). Hear more from Dillinger on the next Around the Bases program tonight at 6 p.m. on the 99.7 FM and AM 1310 KDLS-Perry and 98.9 FM KGRA-Jefferson.
