Last weekend the White Pole Road served as an avenue to antiques and other finds as communities from Dexter to Adair held garage and yard sales. Today Guthrie Center, Panora, and the Lake Panorama area will be the place to go with the Heart of Guthrie County Garage Sales.
While most of the sales are hosted by private residents, businesses and other organizations will also have sales, with funds going to non-profit charities. Locations include The Lakeside Village in Panora, which will be hosting a garage sale as a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association. That sale runs today until 3pm at the village, and items for sale include: clothes, furniture, small wares, adaptive devices, and other gently-used items.
