A portion of Highway 44 will be closed for repairs next week.

On Thursday, June 14th, at approximately 8am, the highway at the intersection of Yellow Avenue, east of Panora will be closed to replace a corrugated metal pipe. The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) hopes to have the work completed and roadway opened by the end of that same day. Therefore, motorists should choose an alternate route for that day. The DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution and obey all speed and construction signs in the area. Contact the DOT for more information.
