Thursday, May 31st
12:48am: Jennifer Ashby reported a suspicious motorcycle in the 100 Block of East Central Ave. The office did not locate the reported vehicle.
8:04am: Essie Kowaleski reported a small stray dog at 404 South Elm Street. The owner retrieved the animal before the officer’s arrival.
8:05am: An officer picked up an abandoned bicycle in the 400 Block of South Elm Street and placed it in the Impound Lot.
11:10am: Alex Ratliff caught a stray cat at 722 South Elm Street. The officer placed the animal in the Animal Holding Facility.
12:51pm: A caller advised of a dog tied up in the front yard at 304 North High Street, without access to water. The officer arrived and located no dog outside.
10:31pm: Jennifer Schiltz reported a suspicious vehicle in the 500 Block of East Lincoln Way Street. A State patrol Trooper located the vehicle and spoke to the driver, who advised he was playing Pokemon Go and was trying to scare anyone.
11:12pm: Holly Nelson advised of a group of kids playing basketball in the park until midnight and it bothered her. The officer made contact with the group and explained the park closes at 11:00pm. They understood and left the area.
