West Central Valley Wildcat

Last night was a game to remember for West Central Valley freshman baseball player Drew Taylor. Taylor and the Wildcat baseball team hit the road to Audubon Wednesday evening for a nonconference matchup against the Wheelers. West Central Valley head baseball coach Justin Keck tells Raccoon Valley Radio that Taylor smashed a pair of home runs, including a grand slam in the third inning, in a 15-2 victory over Audubon. He put a two-run home run over the fence in the second inning as well. The victory improves the West Central Valley baseball team’s overall record to 3-2. The Wildcat baseball team host the Woodward Academy Knights in a West Central Activities Conference doubleheader tonight. The West Central Valley softball team also picked up a win at Audubon last night, 9-4, improving their overall record to 2-4. The Wildcat softball team’s next scheduled game is Monday in Stuart against the Ogden Bulldogs.
