With the 2018 primary election imminent, the Dallas County Auditor’s Office reminds voters to double check where their polling location is.
Auditor Julia Helm says the locations are the same as they’ve been for several years, but she feels it’s important to let new residents know, and it never hurts to give people reminders. There are three polling sites for Perry citizens, one for each City precinct. Precinct One will vote at the Perry Public Library, Two will be in the Public Safety Building, and Three is at the McCreary Community Building. Adel residents and those living just outside the City also have three locations. Precinct One will vote at the Adel Public Library, Two is at the Faith Lutheran Church, and the Colfax/Adel Precinct is at Grace Lutheran Church.
The primary election will be held Tuesday, June 5th. There will be ballots available at each polling site for Republican, Democrat, and Libertarian parties. You can only choose one to vote on, but you can make your decision at the polls. Additionally, anyone wanting to vote early or absentee can do so through Monday, however early voting can only be done at the County Auditor’s office.
