Here’s a reminder that the final day of the inaugural exhibit at Of the Earth Fine Art Gallery in Guthrie Center is tomorrow. The exhibit, “Artists Who Educate,” features works by four professional visual artists that are also active or retired public school educators.
Last month the gallery hosted over 100 people at it’s opening event. Gallery Operator Nancita Wernett is pleased with the support she has received from the community. “I’ve had people thank me over and over for bringing such a fine, tasteful presentation of artwork and how they really appreciated it. Also the people who exhibited were very happy to be a part of something in our smaller communities where we’re trying to reach fine arts education.”
The exhibit will be open at the gallery just off State Street tomorrow from 1-5pm. The gallery is free and open to the public. To hear more from Wernett, including an announcement of the gallery’s next exhibition, listen to today’s Let’s Talk Guthrie County program.
