The Panora City Council will meet in regular session tonight.
The Council will once again consider ordinances increasing water and sewer rates. The rates remain unchanged from the proposed increases rejected by the Council at their previous meeting. This will be the first reading on the ordinances, with the option to waive the second and third readings.
The Council will then discuss a water plant inspection and possible quote for water plant turbidimeters. Other action items include a budget amendment for the current fiscal year and a resolution appointing a member to the Panora Public Library Board. The meeting will conclude with discussion regarding smoking policies at Michael Mills Park and a possible closed session for the evaluation of City Administrator Lisa Grossman.
The meeting begins at 6:30pm at Panora City Hall.
