The Class 2A Iowa High School Girls State Golf Tournament is today & tomorrow at Panora’s Lake Panorama National Course. Greene County High School senior Rachael Danielson is in the field of qualifiers. It’s the first time Danielson has played in 2A or in a tournament at Panorama National, but it’s the third straight year she’s been a State qualifier, placing eighteenth and sixth in Class 3A each of the past two seasons. Danielson is the only female from a Jefferson-based golf program to qualify for three State tournaments.

Today’s action is a 9 a.m. shotgun start with tee times for tomorrow starting at 8:30 a.m. There is a “live” scoring link to follow the golfers’ progress at IGHSAU.org in the Golf section.
