Here’s a reminder that several public offices and buildings will be closed today in celebration of the Memorial Day holiday. City Hall offices, post offices, and public libraries in Stuart, Panora, and Guthrie Center will all be closed, as will the Guthrie County Courthouse. Several banks and other businesses will also be closed in observance of the holiday.

As for garbage scheduling, in Stuart the garbage pickup will remain as scheduled today. Residents in Guthrie Center, Jamaica, and Lake Panorama will have their garbage picked up tomorrow. All normal Tuesday routes with Jensen Sanitation will be picked up as normal.
