Thursday, May 24th

1:33am: As a result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Elm Street, Parker Stoneburner (18) of Ogden was arrested for Possession of Alcohol Under Legal Age and Improper Registration Plate Lamp. During the traffic stop, the officer could smell an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The officer located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Additional Arrest Warrants will be applied for pending the test results of these items.

7:53am: An officer responded to an alarm at Home State Bank (115 West State Street). Everything was found to be okay.

9:45am: An officer responded to the 300 block of South Grimmell Road after receiving a report of a male stealing donated pop cans at the Open Gospel Church.

2:00pm: Sandy Day reported finding a cell phone in her yard at 400 South Chestnut Street. The owner of the phone was contacted and it was returned.

2:38pm: As a result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of North West Street, Rodney Blackmon of Grand Junction was issued a citation for Driving While License Suspended.

3:30pm: An anonymous female reported finding a wallet in the 200 block of West Harrison Street.

7:11pm: As a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of 220th and North Mulberry Street, Vangie Lasley of Tama was issues a citation for Excessive Speed.

10:01pm: An officer located an open door at 1000 North Cedar Street.

10:58pm: As a result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of West Lincoln Way, James McBride of Jefferson was issued a citation for Operation Without Registration.

11:35pm: April Hopkins spoke with an officer about a civil issue.
