The Perry Jayette soccer team will open up postseason play tonight at home against a very good Collins Maxwell squad that went 9-3 during the regular season. Perry closed out their regular season 9-5 after beating Atlantic Tuesday night on the road. Collins Maxwell lost to Des Moines Christian in their regular season finale 2-0 and has one game against a Raccoon River Conference foe back in April losing to Ballard 2-1. Perry beat the Bombers 3-2 so tonight’s game is expected to be tight. The Jayettes are led by Natalie Martinez whose 24 goals place her in the top 5 in class 2A. Kickoff is slated for 6:00 tonight at Dewey Field.
