Thirty-six holes of golf are all that’s left for sophomore Kolby Shackelford as a member of the Panorama boys golf program this spring. Shackelford, the meet medalist of last Friday’s district tournament at Lake Panorama National Course, qualified as an individual for today and tomorrow’s Class 2A State Golf Tournament at the American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown. The Raccoon Valley Radio Network taped an interview with Shackelford after winning the district golf meet last Friday and stated his goal is to try and win the Class 2A Individual State Championship. Shackelford’s scheduled to tee off at 10:30 a.m. today on hole 4A at the American Legion Golf Course. Listen to the Raccoon Valley Radio Network for updates throughout the next two days of Shackelford’s progress.
