The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The first part of the meeting will be devoted to the Human Resources Department. After discussing the weekly payroll change notices, the Board will continue conversation on updates to the employee handbook. They will also consider a change in the vacation cap and compensatory time for the Secondary Roads Department, as well as ratification of union contracts for the County Attorney’s Office and Emergency Medical Services Department.
At 9:30 a.m., the Board will hold a public hearing to discuss a road vacation for a portion of 288th Trail near Adel, as requested by a resident. Following that, they will consider three items relating to the Facilities Department, including: floor mat services recommendations; a request for proposals for courthouse repairs; and a landscaping workshop for the Human Services Campus. Other items on the agenda include: a contract amendment for Decat Restorative Justice services; an amended 28E agreement with the City of Van Meter for road maintenance; and setting time and date for a public hearing for a fiscal year 2018 budget amendment.
The session will conclude with Board appointments to the County Board of Health and amended official depositories. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
