A Thursday evening tradition in Perry will be returning before you know it, and it will come with some new features.

The Perry Farmers Market will begin the last week of May, and this year the Chamber of Commerce wanted to switch up more than just the location. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti explains, “We are planning on having different activities and highlights each week, so we’re encouraging vendors to start planning on joining us. So we’re excited to just kind of have each one be a mini event in itself. But then really just encourage people to come out each week to purchase their goods!”

Pasutti adds, the cost for vendors is a little different this year. It will be $30 for the entire season, or $10 per day. The Perry Farmers Market will run every Thursday from 4-7 p.m., between May 31st and September 27th. After last year’s success, it will continue being held in the Josh Davis Plaza. The themes for each individual market will be revealed in the coming weeks.
