On Saturday, April 21st, the Stuart Fire Department will be hosting an open house for the general public. The event is from 10am-2pm at the Stuart Fire Station.
There will be plenty of activities for all ages. Throughout the event, the Blanks Fire Safety House will be on site for severe weather awareness learning. There will also be a gas can exchange facilitated by Jane Allsup with The Legacy of Christopher Allsup Gas Can Exchange foundation. Participants must bring in their old gas cans for the exchange, while supplies last.
Additionally there will be fire extinguisher demonstrations every hour and “Stop the Bleed” classes at 10am and 12:30pm. There will be additional activities, as well as hot dogs, popcorn and soda, while supplies last. There is no cost to attend.
