High school prom season has arrived and for Paton-Churdan, their prom is this Saturday.

The day starts off with a public viewing of the decorations in the school’s gym from 6:20 to 7:20pm. This year’s theme is “Winter Wonderland.” The public can also take informal pictures during the viewing time. The grand march will be in the front of the school, weather permitting, from 7:30 to 8pm. If there is inclement weather, the grand march will be held inside the school’s auditorium. Students and faculty will then enjoy a three-course meal, prepared by the junior class parents, followed by the dance taking place from 9 to 11:30pm.

After prom festivities will be from midnight to 2:30am Sunday with food, games, a hypnotist and over $5,000 in prizes to be given away. The junior class parents will host the after prom activities with a Las Vegas-theme.
