In an effort to spark even more interest ahead of the arrival of the Smithsonian Institute’s Hometown Teams traveling exhibit in Jefferson, a special promotion is going on now.

Jefferson Matters: Main Street Promotion Committee encourages everyone to visit participating downtown area businesses and enter their names for a drawing for local artist Kevin Richards sports prints through the “Hit a Homerun” promotion. No purchase is necessary, but the promotion committee reminds everyone to shop local. The participating businesses include: The Printer’s Box, Don’s Ace Hardware, Fudge’s Flowers & Gifts, ShineOn Designs, More Time, Royal Jewelers, Skeeter Creek Fabricators & Antiques, the Stitch, Sensibly Chic and Addie’s.

The promotion ends April 15th and one lucky winner will be chosen on April 16th. To enter the drawing, look for a special baseball sack inside each participating business.

The promotion is in support of the Hometown Teams exhibit with the Smithsonian Institute, which will be making a stop at the Greene County Historical Museum from August 11th through September 23rd.
