The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session Today. The Board will seek formal action on the fiscal year 2018-2019 revised health insurance rates. The approval was delayed due to recent Iowa Governmental Health Care Plan (IGHCP) discussions on converting from Alliance Select to Blue Choice plans.
The meeting will begin with an Information Technology update from David Garland of Guthrie Center Communications. County Facilities Manager Brandon Thompson will then discuss mowing at the County Transfer Station and other general facilities updates. Other action items include: the Guthrie County Substance Abuse Prevention Services Grant application; an abatement of delinquent property taxes; a conveyance of abandoned streets and alleys in Monteith; and a contract with Adkins Election Service for Unisyn election equipment.
The meeting will conclude with a review of the third quarter from the 2017-2018 fiscal budget. The meeting begins at 9am in the Supervisors’ Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse.
