Guthrie County Hospital was recently recognized as one of the top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the United States by the Chartis Center for Rural Health.
The hospital scored in the top 100 of Critical Access Hospitals on iVantage Health Analytics’ Hospital Strength INDEX. The results of the INDEX are the basis for many of rural healthcare’s most prominent awards, advocacy efforts, and legislative initiatives. The INDEX measures facilities across eight pillars of hospital strength, including: Inpatient Share Ranking, Outpatient Share Ranking, Cost, Charge, Quality, Outcomes, Patient Perspective, and Financial Stability.
The list provides no official ranking and features 13 other Iowa hospitals.
