Today marks the start of another golf season at West Central Valley Community Schools. The Wildcats boys and girls golf teams will spend the afternoon in Knoxville, competing in a nonconference triangular against the Panthers and the Clarke Indians at the Pine Knoll Golf Course. The meet tees off a busy week of competitions for the Wildcat golfers. Weather permitting, West Central Valley will host a pair of triangulars next Monday and Thursday at the 5 x 80 golf course near Menlo. Monday’s meet will feature golfers from West Central Valley, Van Meter, and Woodward-Granger; Thursday’s event will include golfers from West Central Valley, Coon Rapids-Bayard, and Exira-EHK. Today’s nine-hole nonconference meet against Knoxville and Clarke begins at 4 p.m. from the Pine Knoll Golf Course in Knoxville
