The deadline to submit nomination forms for county elected offices was Wednesday and the slate of candidates has been announced.

According to the Greene County Auditor’s office, Democrat incumbent Donna Lawson and Republican candidate Katlynn Gannon-Mechaelsen for running for County Treasurer. As for County Recorder, Democrat incumbent Marcia Tasler is seeking re-election. Supervisor District 2 has one candidate and it is Republican incumbent Dawn Rudolph, as well as Supervisor District 3 also has one candidate with Republican incumbent Tom Contner seeking another term. Due to the retirement of County Attorney Nic Martino, Libertarian candidate and current Assistant County Attorney Thomas Laehn is running for County Attorney.

The primary election will be on June 5th.
