The Guthrie Center City Council will meet in regular session tonight.
The Council will conduct a public hearing on the City’s Code of Ordinances. City Administrator Laura Wolfe tells Raccoon Valley Radio this is a fairly routine procedure aimed at primarily cleaning up language in the existing code. The Council will also review the Main Street water line project, which began Monday. Other action items include: Iowa Communities Assurance Pool (ICAP) and Workers Compensation insurance updates, bids for tree removal, and other formal reminders.
The meeting will conclude with continued discussion on police services. The meeting begins at 6:30pm at Guthrie Center City Hall.
