Thursday, March 8th

1:19am: A Traffic Stop was performed in the 200 Block of West Madison Street, resulting in Sean Coil of Jefferson being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”

1:42am: An officer located a vehicle with an Open Door parked at a residence in the 300 Block of South Wilson Ave. The officer secured the vehicle.

1:42pm: The Sheriff’s office requested assistance from an officer at ER with an unruly juvenile.

3:47pm: Joan Collison reported opening a package delivered to her residence at 503 East Madison Street, which actually should have been delivered to East Monroe. The office advised her to return the package to the Post Office and explain what happened to them.

4:04pm: A caller advised City Hall a vehicle had driven through the yard at 703 North Wilson Ave, causing damage to the yard. The officer spoke to the residence at this address, who parks and drives through his yard. He had no idea who called City Hall.

6:22pm: Susan Herrick requested a Welfare Check on her dogs at 407 South Olive Street.

6:34pm: A caller advised of a Barking Dog in the 500 Block of South Cedar Street. The officer spoke to the animal’s owner about resolving the issue.

7:03pm: An officer checked on a vehicle with the hood open in the 200 Block of East Lincoln Way Street. The driver advised he had help on the way.

7:25pm: A Traffic Stop in the 500 Block of North Locust Street resulted in Ricky Comer of Grand Junction being cited for, “Fail to Have a valid Driver’s License and Open Container.”
