The owners of the Oasis Grocery Store in Perry have branched out into the restaurant business, and held a soft opening earlier this week for their new locale.

The Oasis Restaurant is located just down the street from the grocery store along Otley Avenue. Last summer, Yanira Del Rosario Sanchez bought the former tavern located at 1223 Otley, and has since been remodeling the building inside and out to house a new Hispanic restaurant. They’ve also repaired the parking area and sidewalk.

Oasis Restaurant will be open Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., Thursday from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. It will be closed Sundays. The owners plan to host a grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration in the coming weeks.
