The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular budgeting session today.

The Board will begin the meeting with a review of the health insurance partial self-fund account. Due to recent changes in health insurance plans, the County will be transitioning from Wellmark’s Alliance Select to Blue Choice. The Board will also seek formal action on extending temporary appointments for the current Guthrie County Medical examiners. If approved, Dr. David Ahrens and Dr. Steven Bascom would continue their appointments until Dr. Josh Strehle completes certification requirements.

The meeting will conclude with continued discussions on county property projects. The meeting begins at 9am in the Supervisors’ Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse.
