Greene County senior Laurin Lyons was voted onto the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference second all-conference team by league coaches. Senior Samantha Hardaway and sophomore Izzy Bravard were on the honorable mention list. North Polk (Alleman) lost in the Class 3A State Tournament semifinals on Thursday to top rated and undefeated Crestwood (Cresco) at Wells Fargo Arena, meaning all HOIAC teams have completed their seasons, and the all-conference selections can be announced.
Lyons averaged 11.2 points per game for a team that went 5-16 overall and 2-12 in conference play. The Rams only averaged 35.5 points per contest. Lyons led the Rams in most scoring categories, as well as rebounds, steals, and assists. Hardaway averaged 6.7 points and Bravard scored an average of 4.4 points per contest.
