It’s official: the Perry Chamber of Commerce has a new Executive Director, and her name is Lynsi Pasutti.
Pasutti has most recently been based in Stuart, where she has served as the President of the Stuart Chamber of Commerce, the President of the Guthrie County Arts Council, and worked with Midwest Partnership Economic Development Corporation. Much of her time has been spent promoting west-central Iowa as a leading destination for business and quality of life. The Chamber Board felt she was a strong choice to lead the Perry Chamber forward with their business-focused vision.
Board President Emily Leslie says Pasutti has worked a lot in the nonprofit, economic development, and private business sectors for the last six years. Leslie feels Pasutti’s background, combined with her passion for the work made her a natural choice for the position. Pasutti succeeds former Chamber Director Bob Wilson, who left the position last August. Leslie says the Chamber Board spent much of the time since then trying to refocus themselves and come up with a more definitive direction before hiring a new Director.
