Greene County Extension is once again offering a two-day class for youth that are interested in being a babysitter.

Babysitting Basics will be held at the Extension office for fifth through eighth graders. Topics that will be covered include: how to be an effective babysitter, ideas to entertain children, handling emergencies, first aid and safety pointers and how to care for children of different ages.

The classes will be on Friday, March 16th and Saturday, March 17th from 8:30am to noon. Cost to participate in the program is $25 per person. The deadline to register is March 7th. Call 386-2138 or stop by to sign up.
