The February edition of the Perry Chamber of Commerce’s Coffee event was held Friday morning, with an additional special event that required the use of the giant scissors.
Ted Smith and VisionPoint Financial hosted the Chamber Coffee to show off their new location and tell people about the services they offer. Since VisionPoint is also one of the Chamber’s newest members, the Chamber Board wanted to officially welcome them with a ribbon cutting. Attendees helped themselves to donuts and coffee, then braved the cold to help VisionPoint cut their ribbon. Smith was pleased with the turnout for the event, and told Raccoon Valley Radio he’s looking forward to their partnership with the Chamber.
The Perry Chamber holds the Coffee events the second Friday of every month. They see it as a way to bring their members and the public together to network, while also providing an avenue for people to get the word out about any upcoming events or promotions they may have.
