Dallas Co Supervisors 1-9

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

Several items on the agenda will focus on the Secondary Roads Department: a resolution to award a bid for the County Road F25 paving project; a resolution to purchase two 1-ton trucks; a request by County Engineer Al Miller for out of state travel; and the approval of a notification letter to the City Development Board. Next, the Board will consider a resolution to approve the issuance of $14.7 million in general obligation capital loan notes relating to the bond referendum for the new law enforcement center.

They will then continue discussion on a new lease for the building at 918 Court Street in Adel, which currently holds the driver’s license station and Department of Motor Vehicles. Finally, they will discuss the structural steel bid package contract for the law enforcement center, and have a closed session to discuss pending litigation. The meeting will conclude with a budget workshop. The meeting is open to the public and will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
