The Perry City Council will convene Monday evening in regular session.
After the City Administrator’s report and mayor and Council comments, Carolyn McNeill will give a presentation about the Perry Police Department Memorial during open forum. In old business, the Council will consider a resolution to extend the bid deadline for the soccer complex project. They only received two bids at the initial deadline, and three are recommended to make sure the quotes are competitive.
In new business, the Council will consider several more resolutions, including: contributing money to the Beaver Creek Watershed Management Authority; approving an application for the Iowa Department of Transportation sign replacement program; authorizing the use of local option sales tax funds to offset the City’s capital expenditures in 2018 and 2019; and awarding a bid for work on the McCreary Community Building’s roof maintenance.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held Monday at 6 p.m. in the Clarion Room at Perry City Hall.
