The high school wrestling season will continue for an extra week for five members of the West Central Valley Wildcats squad. The Wildcats were in Missouri Valley yesterday for the Class 1A Section 2 tournament against wrestlers from Audubon, Exira-EHK, Logan-Magnolia, Missouri Valley, West Harrison, and Woodbine. No Wildcat wrestler won their respective weight division, but five were able to come away as a true second place finisher. West Central Valley wrestlers advancing to districts include Drew Belden (132), Tye Joint (145), Carson Wadle (182), Riley Algreen (195), and Alex Wells (285).
