The West Central Valley Wildcats girls basketball team (8-10 overall) returned to winning form Friday night with a 71-46 victory over the Ogden Bulldogs. The Wildcats benefitted from balanced scoring with five players scoring 10 or more points. Senior Grace Dupuy led West Central Valley with 16 points while classmate Kennedy Lose added 15. Junior Joelle Grubbs chipped in 11 points while sophomores Sydney Neal and Michaela Jaeger added 10 points apiece. The victory improves the Wildcat girls basketball teams overall record to 8-10. Ogden ran by West Central Valley in the boys game, 72-44, dropping the Wildcats overall record to 2-16. The Wildcat basketball teams close their regular season home schedule Tuesday hosting the Des Moines Christian Lions.
