BRR Ride 2018

We’re nearing the end of January, which means it’s time to start really thinking about the 41st Annual Bike Ride to Rippey, or BRR Ride.

The event is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the Perry Chamber of Commerce, and they’re hopeful the weather will cooperate this year. So far, Chamber Board President Emily Leslie says there’s been more than 150 people who have registered early for the event. She says that’s considerably more than they normally have this far out, which she attributes partly to people wanting to break out of their cabin fever.

“It’s so cold outside, but people are still thinking about riding their bikes right now! They’re excited to get out. We’re excited for maybe a little bit of a warm-up to peak that interest again of taking that BRR Ride. So we’re excited as a Chamber to support that ride, also to provide that program for the community. So if you have a business, and you want to run specials that day, you know we’re willing to work with you to help you with that communication piece and get that word out!”

The BRR Ride will be held February 3, with registration starting at 7:30 a.m. at Hotel Pattee. You can also register online before the event by clicking the link below.
