The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet today.

The Board will consider for approval the County Treasurer’s investment and driver’s license report for December, along with their semi-annual report and 2019 fiscal year budget proposal. Other departments that will present their 2019 fiscal year budget proposals include: indigent caretaker and the Environmental Health Department. Additionally, the Board will consider for approval the Compensation Board’s recommendations for elected county officials.

The Board will also hear about urban renewal and economic development opportunities through Tax Increment Financing (TIF) with Ahlers and Cooney, followed by a Northern Securities presentation.

The meeting begins at 8:30am in the boardroom of the courthouse in Jefferson.
