The Warren Cultural Center is getting 2018 off to a good start with a new exhibit in the Lobby Gallery. Nicole Plymesser Nelson’s, “When Faith and Art Combine,” exhibit will be featured in the gallery until the end of the month.
The artist grew up in Greenfield and contributed the poster art to the opera house, as her parents are avid volunteers at the center. Director Ken Sidey describes the exhibit. “I would describe it as being very light-hearted (with) bright colors, with a lot of Christian messages, (and) Bible verses that she has illustrated. (It is) very entertaining to look at.”
The display is free for viewing during the center’s regular operating hours, but the center will also accept free-will donations. The artwork is also available for sale through Ed & Eva’s.
