Monty M. Lumsden, age 77, of Marion, IA, passed away peacefully, with his wife Karen at his side, on Friday, January 5, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Scranton with Rev. Joyce Webb officiating. Casket bearers will be Monty’s sons: Todd Lumsden and Scot Lumsden, grandson Marc Lumsden, nephew Mack Mattke, brother-in-law Ron Higby, and friend Stan Hoffbauer. Burial will be in the Scranton Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Scranton from 5 – 7 P.M. on Monday evening. The casket will be moved to the church at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday where visitation will resume until the time of service.
