Don’t forget, your chance to meet this year’s Miss Rodeo Iowa is today at her coronation celebration.

Adel native Jenna Kool was selected as Miss Rodeo Iowa 2018, the first winner from Dallas County in the competition’s history. Her coronation will be held today at the Country Lane Lodge in Adel at 5:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door, and cost $25 for adults and $10 for kids age 6-12, while children under 6 are free. There will be a dinner catered by Texas Roadhouse, as well as live and silent auctions. All proceeds from the ticket sales and auctions will help pay for Kool’s travels around the country this year.

Throughout 2018 she’ll cover around 30,000 miles as she serves as an ambassador for Iowa’s agriculture, rodeo, and animal welfare. In December she’ll compete in Las Vegas for the title of Miss Rodeo America.
