A deputy investigated a car in the ditch on U Avenue just south of Dana. The car belongs to Mandy Sims of Dana. There was nobody in the car and there was no damage to the car. It appeared they hit a slick spot and lost control of their vehicle.

Christopher Laurent was booked into the jail for driving while license revoked.

A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 2000 block of 295th Street.

Saturday, December 23rd

Robert Lindahl 38 of Lamoni was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine 1st offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy investigated several 911 calls from a residence in the 300 block of South Pinet Street, Jefferson.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1000 block of Sand Street, Churdan.

Sunday, December 24th

A deputy was informed of a car that missed a driveway on private property in the 2000 block of Neola Avenue.

A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on 235th Street near the saw mill. Thomas Kennedy 49 of Jefferson lost control of his 2001 Chevrolet Prism and went into the ditch. There was no damage to the vehicle.

Monday, December 25th

A deputy investigated a suspicious person on U Avenue 1 mile south of Grand Junction.

A deputy investigated an alarm in the 200 block of Main Street, Paton.

A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on Jordan Avenue just north of 235th Street. Chanze Bushman 16 of Scranton lost control of a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix and entered the ditch and struck a tree. The vehicle was believed to be totaled. Chanze was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
