The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
They were originally going to take the week off, but with the complications that arose at the previous meeting involving the bids for construction of the new law enforcement center, the Board decided meeting this week would be in their best interest. The meeting will start with discussion and possible action to reconsider the letting of bids for the project. The first part will be to reject all bids, re-let the project, and revise the language in the bid notice. The second part is to establish a schedule for re-letting the bids, including setting a deadline to submit and open bids, and setting a public hearing to consider and award the bids.
The discussion will be followed by a possible closed session regarding pending litigation. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
